Among the Lost
Living and ministering as an insider in a local community is the heart and starting point of The Navigators ministry. One must not only learn the skills of ministering well, he or she must also learn to live well with Biblical motivations. God himself has placed each of us in one or more networks, such as in a family, a neighborhood, a workplace or an affinity group. He desires that we bear fruit in these networks.
So, as part of your CityLife experience, what will it mean to "live and disciple" among the lost? This kind of living is not an event but a lifestyle. It includes...
- Following Jesus in such a way that it produces faith, hope and love.
- Living to love, serving and forming friendships as a basic building blocks of reaching those without Christ.
- Creating safe places and environments of grace and truth.
- Knowing how to advance the Gospel among the lost and how to disciple this generation with the best of what we know about spiritual transformation.
